A photo which I took during our trip to Germany (Munich, Neuschwanstein) made it through the cover of a classical music CD.
When you go up a 30 minutes walk towards the castle of Neuschwanstein, you see a beautiful landscape of Bavarian fields. If you're lucky, and you're there at the right time, you'll be rewarded with great light.

One of the most spectacular places in Norway, Geiranger fjord - small, but very picturesque, with splendid waterfall in the background.
Lighting conditions were not at all that great on that day. I had to make an HDR image to preserve some detail in the clouds.
I wonder how many newlyweds went to Norway because of this photo :)

I've just found this image used in an article about new stock agency being opened in Poland.
Take a read here
This shows how an image's abstract values can be used. While I meant it to be rather for travel/touristic purposes, the author of the article illustrated the idea of Polish (micro)stock market prospects - the road leading to better future.
Ironically, the article is about a competitive stock site (well, not so much, as they seem to be slightly differently targeted), while I'm a Dreamstime's editor. Well, you never know what context is your photo used in.
This one is taken from the very first series of shots I took with my newly acquired Canon G9 - I tested the off-camera flash ability and, as I happen to have some laboratory gadgets borrowed from a friend of mine, I took some lab shots at home :) The strobe set to minimum power, but fired from short distance, made the background pure black.
Found in use in this article, glad to be featured there.
That's a finding:) My Anna's photo was used as a book cover design. The book is of David Murdoch, titled 'Ana Markovic'. How did he know the first name?? ;)
As you can see, the designer flipped the image and used the face, added some moody elements and here you go.
